Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome Friends!
Tremont is a non-profit residential environmental education center that provides in-depth experiences through education programs that celebrate ecological and cultural diversity, foster stewardship, and nurture appreciation of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

We operate year-round serving students and nature-lovers of all ages with school programs, workshops, summer youth programs and camps, citizen science projects and naturalist certification classes. If you love the outdoors, chances are we've got something going on that you'd be interested in.

Contact us to find the program that's right for you.

On their last visit to Tremont, students from Maplewood Richmond Heights and the Rhymebosome (Tom McFadden) created this awesome music video for us on salamanders and biodiversity in the Smokies. Check it out and share with your friends and students.
