As a private, non-profit organization, we work closely with the National Park Service to provide educational programs that increase the awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the natural and
cultural resources of the Great Smoky Mountains and promote stewardship of these resources. Groups of all ages visit Tremont to live and learn, using the national park as their outdoor classroom. Whether focusing on
the park’s rich cultural history or remarkable biological diversity, participants in Tremont’s programs—school trips, adult workshops, family programs, and youth programs—leave with a greater sense of wonder, depth of knowledge, and appreciation of the natural world and the national park. Tremont’s expertise and decades of working with the National Park Service will make your next gathering in the mountains the best ever! Leave all the meals, lodging and other logistics to us and get ready for an
awe-inspiring education in the mountains!
