Teacher Escape Weekend

Escape to the Smokies and join Tremont's teacher/naturalists for an exciting look at what Tremont has to offer.
This weekend is an opportunity to meet other teachers, share ideas, learn about new Tremont programs and answer questions you may have before your school's visit. It is also a time to relax, enjoy the mountain scenery and make new friends. Attendance in this program allows teachers to attend free of charge when their school participates in a three or five day Tremont school program. It also reduces the cost of the trip for each participant (see chart below for full information on price reductions).
Cost: A non-refundable $50 registration fee to partially cover food and lodging. Tremont covers the rest of the cost because we understand the importance and value of this pre-trip experience for new and returning teachers. TEACHERS: After attending this program, when you bring your school group you will qualify to come free and your students will get $8 off the price of a three day or longer experience.
Note: In a response to feedback from teachers over the past few years, Teacher Escape Weekend will begin 9:00am Saturday and end Sunday after lunch. Attendance is required for all sessions. For those teachers traveling long distances, the dorm will be available for lodging on Friday. When you register, please tell us if you are staying with us on Friday. Meals will be provided beginning lunch, Saturday.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received at least 30 days before the program start date may transfer all but $50 to another program*; 15-29 days before the program start date, transfer all but $75 to another program*; 0-14 days before the program start date, no refund or transfer for any reason. No exceptions.
* Transfers must be used by the end of the following year.
