Public Relations/Development Assistant

Tremont is seeking a creative, outgoing and tech savvy person to fill the full time position of Public Relations Assistant.  Our campus is located within the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position assists with PR and development projects such as research, graphic design, copy writing, and is the liaison for media and PR firms. The position also serves as Webmaster for www.gsmit.org and oversees IT functions within the organization.  

QUALIFICATIONS:  a Bachelor’s degree in public relations, business or marketing and 1-3 years of experience is preferred. Writing, graphic design and Web skills are a must. Strong knowledge of MS Office, Adobe CS, Relational databases, and Macs is necessary.  

SALARY: Salary is competitive and dependent on experiences and abilities. Benefit opportunities include Health, Dental,  Life Insurance and retirement options.
