Autumn Brilliance Photography Workshop

October 19-22, 2012

Willard Clay, widely recognized as one of our nation’s preeminent landscape photographers, leads this annual workshop. Unlike many photography workshops, our price includes meals, lodging and instruction by one of the finest teams of photography instructors anywhere in the country. Combine that with the location inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park and it is a real steal. Field sessions and lectures will cover the use of light, composition, landscape photography, close-ups, and how to find the right picture. An emphasis will be placed on digital photography; however, all formats are welcome. The program will combine natural history interpretation with photographic technique and is designed for photographers at all levels of expertise. Program lasts from Friday afternoon to Monday mid-morning.

Willard Clay is the sole photographer of eleven photography books, among them Grand Teton: Citadels of Stone, Yellowstone: Land of Fire and Ice, and Texas: Deep in the Heart. He is a contributor to scores of books and magazines including Time, Audubon, Reader’s Digest, Outdoor Photographer, Outside and Sierra Club. He was chosen to contribute to the Daybreak 2000 Project and to The Nature of North America: Images by North America’s Premier Nature Photographers. Visit Will's site to learn more.

Cost: $611. Includes meals, lodging and instruction.
