Teams will have the opportunity to interact with Great Smoky Mountains National Park in an in-depth, educational and family-friendly way. The Scavenger Hunt will include questions and activities that relate to information and places within and surrounding
The Scavenger Hunt will take place over a 24-hour period. The team captain will receive the official questions via e-mail at 5 p.m. on Friday March 7th. Teams have all evening to determine their strategy and to complete research on questions. Check in for each team will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 8th at the entrance of Tremont. You don’t even need to leave your car! Completed questions are due to Tremont by 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 8th when tallying begins. A light dinner for participants will be available with winners announced and prizes awarded at 6 p.m. Download the fact sheet on the Hunt.Each individual participating in the Scavenger Hunt must agree to the official rules and regulations and must sign the event waiver. Please note that the Scavenger Hunt is a test of teamwork and planning, not stamina and speed. The emphasis is on fun, not run, so that there’s a level playing field for everyone.
