Legacy of Tremont

Legacy’s History
On the urging of multiple Tremont board members, a group of individuals met in February of 2007 to discuss the feasibility of a support group for Tremont. Since then, the group has grown to 13 dedicated individuals who meet regularly.

So who can be a part of Legacy? Anyone! Those who have attended Tremont programs as a child or an adult are considered alumni of Tremont. Others who support Tremont or have visited Walker Valley, fly-fished in the Middle Prong and/or hiked Spruce Flats Falls are also welcome to be a part of this group.

Mission
To heighten public awareness and to support Tremont in the community-at-large by creating and managing a variety of activities, including friend raising, to assist Tremont with accomplishing its mission.
